Ebben az egy hónapban, amíg az
InStylenak blogolok, szeretném Nektek megmutatni miért is szeretem annyira Pécs
városát, mennyit fejlődött az utóbbi időben és hiába hallani róla rosszakat, ez
egy igazán magával ragadó és gyönyörű város, amit büszkén hívok otthonomnak.
Merem remélni, hogy mire az utolsó bejegyzés végére értek, már javában tervezni
fogjátok az utazásotokat Pécsre. Az írásaimmal szeretném megkönnyíteni és
élvezetesebbé tenni a kirándulás szervezését, és hogy ha eljöttök, akár egy
napra vagy akár egy hétre, ne úgy járjátok a várost, mint minden turista, hanem
az ismertetőm alapján egy helyi szemével tudjátok majd nézni a mi szeretett mediterrán
városunkat.
In this month, while I am blogging for InStyle Hungary, I would like to show you why I the city of Pécs is so close to my heart, how much it has evolved lately and the fact, that is is a charming and beautiful city, that I can proudly call my home. I dare to say, after you reach to the last post of this serie, you will be planning a trip to Pécs. With these posts I would like to make the organisation of that trip easier and enjoyable, also when you will visit, even for a day or for a week, you won't walk the streets like any other tourist, but with my guide you can see our beloved city with the eyes of a local.

Bonyhádon születtem és már kiskoromban
sokat jártunk Pécsre szüleimmel, ezért mikor gimnáziumba jelentkeztem, csak is
Pécsben gondolkodtam. A gimnáziumi négy év alatt annyira a szívemhez nőtt, hogy
egyetemet is itt választottam. Lassan ugyanannyi időt töltöttem itt, mint a
szülővárosomban, így szinte már teljességgel mondhatom magam pécsinek. Rajongva
szeretem ezt a helyet és még a mai napig képes ámulatba ejteni. Pécs számomra
egy kiapadhatatlan inspirációforrás.
I was born in Bonyhád and in my childhood I visited Pécs a lot with my family, so when I was applying for high school, Pécs was my obvious choice. During the four years of high school, it grew so close to my heart, that I chose a university here. I have almost spent the same amount of time here as in my hometown, so I can call myself a local. I love this place with enthusiasm and it can still amaze me. For me, Pécs is an inexhaustible source of inspiration

Pécs igazán sokszínű, gazdag
kultúrával és hagyományokkal rendelkezik. Az ellentétek városa és ez teszi
igazán egyedivé. Magyarország ötödik legnagyobb városa mégis kisvárosias a
hangulata, a szomszédok jóban vannak egymással, mindenki kedves és ismeri
egymást. Egyszerre találhatóak meg benne a történelmi múlt nyomai és a modern
művészetek, melyek szépen kiegészítik egymást. A sűrűn lakott városrészek
között nagy zöld felületek terülnek el és annak ellenére, hogy általában a nagyvárosokban
ritka az erdőrész, itt ez is megtalálható és a mecseki erdő szeretettel várja a
túrázókat. 2010-ben Pécs volt Európa Kulturális Fővárosa, maga mögé utasítva a
többi magyar és sok más európai nagyvárost is. A projekt nemzetközi szinten hívta
fel a figyelmet Pécs szépségeire és különlegességeire, de úgy gondolom, ezt nem
árt felfrissíteni, mert az EKF jóvoltából azóta még többet fejlődött a város.

It is the fifth largest city of Hungary and still has a friendly small town atmosphere, the neighbors have a good relationship, everyone is kind and knows each other. You can still find the traces of its historical past and also modern arts at the same time and they complement each other beautifully. Between the densely populated areas there are large green parks and despite the fact that big cities rarely have forest, Pécs has one and the Mecsek Forest welcomes all hikers. In 2010, Pécs was the European Capital of Culture, overtaking other Hungarian and many other European cities. The project drew international attention to the beauties and specialties of Pécs, but I think it should be refreshed, because since the ECC, tha city has developed even more.

Körbekérdeztem helyieket,
olyanokat, akik rövid ideig éltek vagy élnek itt és olyanokat is, akiknek semmi
közük a városhoz, hogy mi az a néhány dolog, ami azonnal eszükbe jut Pécsről. „Széchenyi
tér, Tv-torony, Mecsek, Egyetem, Király utca, továbbá a nyüzsgés, vidámság,
otthonos, családias, mediterrán hangulat, jó érzés itt lenni, itt egyszerűen
nem lehet unatkozni”, és a végére hagytam a kedvencem: „nekem szerelem volt
első látásra és még mindig tart."

helyemen írom, a tetőteraszomon, innen inspirálódom, hogyan is tudnám
legváltozatosabban bemutatni Nektek a városom. Tökéletesen belátni az egészet,
minden látványosságot, különleges helyet és csodálatos, ahogy ezernyi színével
árasztja el a Nap az eget, majd a házak alá bukik. Sajnos csak képeken tudom
Nektek megmutatni, hogy innen milyen a kilátás, de a következő helyekre Ti is
ellátogathattok, ahonnan ilyen vagy még szebb a rálátás szeretett városomra
1. A Tv torony Pécs legmagasabb épülete és egyik
szimbóluma. Szeretem, mikor jövök Pécsre és több kilométerről megpillantom a tv
tornyot, ilyenkor elfog az a megnyugtató érzés, hogy „igen, otthon vagyok”.
2. Havihegy: romantikázni, futni és sétálgatni
vágyók egyik kedvenc helyszíne. Ha letérünk a kijelölt útról, a Jézus szobor
lábánál, a sziklákon ülve gyönyörű a kilátás.
I am writing these lines at one of my favorite places, on my rooftop terrace, this is where I am getting inspired about how I can present my city for you in the best way. You can see the whole town perfectly from hre, every spectacle, sight, all the interesting places, and it is wonderful how the sun paints the sky with thousands of colors and then falls under the houses. Unfortunately, I can only show you the view is from here in pictures, but you can visit the following places, where you will have a similar or an even more beautiful view of my beloved city
1. The TV Tower is the tallest building and one of the symbols of Pécs. I like it, when I come to Pécs and when I see the TV tower from several kilometers away, I get the comforting feeling of "yes, I'm home".
2. Havihegy: one of the favorite places for a romantic date, running and strolling around. When we depart the designated path, by the foot of the statue of Jesus, you can get a beautiful view sitting on the rocks.

3. Niké szobor: akinek tériszonya van, annak nem
ajánlom, ugyanis a panoráma a vékony oszlopok tetején ücsörögve élvezhető a
legjobban.
4. A nyolc boldogság terasza: erről a helyről
viszonylag kevesen tudnak, a Kálvária dombon található ez a kis eldugott
terasz, ahonnan körbe belátni a várost és, hogy tudjuk mit merre kell keresni,
táblák mutatják az irányt Pécs fontos részeihez.
5. Alagúttető: igaz, innen nem látni be az egész
várost, de este innen az egyik legizgalmasabb a látvány, ahogy a város fényeit
fürkészve, kocsik suhannak a lábunk alatt.

5. Tunnel Roof: True, you can't see the whole city from here, but one of the most exciting views in the evening, as the cars rushing under your feet while you're looking at the city lights.
